Designed to fit your needs, today and tomorrow, the Gallios flow cytometer provides efficient acquisition of excellent quality data from up to 10 colors with advanced optical design for enhanced sensitivity for multicolor assays. With customized forward scatter, to achieve the most accurate size measurement, and optimized electronics for high resolution and fast, accurate processing, the Gallios was designed for your research needs.
Gallios is optimized for unparalleled signal to noise resolution in all parameters and its quick and easy setup of automated walk-away processing improves your workflow while its remote diagnostics minimize downtime and allow you to maximize lab productivity.
Developed for the research and biopharmaceutical markets, with a particular emphasis on optical and electronics design, combined with powerful automation and software tools, The Gallios enhances the efficiency and analytical capabilities of flow cytometry laboratories. Electronics provide accurate and efficient digital signal processing at high event rates over a wide dynamic range of fluorescence intensities. These benefits are packaged in a compact analyzer that delivers stable performance over long periods of time and across a wide range of operating temperatures.
The Gallios offers up to four highly reliable, solid-state lasers in standard red and blue, with violet and yellow lasers available as an option. By incorporating the optional 405nm violet laser and an optional 561nm yellow laser, the Gallios Flow Cytometer offers a greater choice of fluorochromes to perform sophisticated multicolor experiments. With the new 561nm laser system you can analyze multiple fluorescent proteins simultaneously, as well as benefit from a greater ability to detect red fluorescent proteins. Easily interchangable optical filters facilitate detection of a variety of dyes and wavelengths.
An innovative forward-scatter detector provides up to three measurements of cell size and visualization of particles down to 0.404 µm in diameter. A side-scatter detector incorporates an independently focused, high-performance photodiode with electronic attenuation. Six fluorescence detectors provide simultaneous acquisition of up to six fluorescence signals. Up to four fluorescence detectors can be added to the system, enabling concurrent reading of up to 10 colors. Simultaneous measurements of integral, peak and width are available for all parameters, including scatter and fluorescence signals. A selection from up to 62 parameters can be processed per analysis, at acquisition rates of 25,000 events-per-second, with high yield. Four scalable configurations allow for the future addition of more lasers and fluorescence detectors as the applications for complex multi-color flow cytometry expand.

The Gallios offers up to four solid state diode lasers. The lasers are independently focused in the auto-beam tower using an innovative steering design mechanism that provides optimal excitation at the flow cell for reliable high quality results. The emitted energy is delivered using fiber optics to the boulevard. The patented boulevard design uses 18 degree reflective optics which results in greater light collection efficiency to better resolve data, especially dim markers. The boulevard has been optimized to provide application flexibility with easy access plug and play filters and for the collection of tandem dyes exclusively available from Beckman Coulter. |
